Workforce
Today, Quality Care boasts a highly-educated, well-trained, and well-equipped staff ready to take care of any lawn and landscape maintenance project. Our Lawn Technicians are state licensed, participate in continuing education courses throughout the year, and attend selected turf conventions.
Our Arborist staff features two Certified Arborists, a designation awarded by the International Society of Arboriculture to those individuals who have gained hands-on experience, and successfully passed rigorous knowledge testing. Other members of our Arborist Staff have completed accredited post-secondary programs in horticulture, and are licensed by the State of Iowa to address tree insect and disease problems. All receive thorough training and frequent supervision and inspection.
To complete our service roster is our Landscape Maintenance Division. Just as its name implies, Landscape Maintenance encompasses everything but lawn and trees. We are pleased to have on our staff experienced gardeners who design and supervise the installation of beautiful flower and shrub beds for many of our clients. Throughout the year, our highly trained Landscape Maintenance staff performs all seasonal duties related to bed maintenance, from planting in the spring, watering and fertilizing in the spring and summer, to removal and bed preparation in the fall. Other Landscape Maintenance services include leaf cleanups, sidewalk edging, and mulching. We at Quality Care are grateful for the opportunity that we have been given to grow with the community we serve, and look forward to continuing that trend into the future.
