Supplemental Lawn Services are designed to establish and maintain a healthy lawn and provide insect and disease control may be recommended.

Perimeter Pest Control: Our pest control perimeter creates a barrier around the exterior of your home or office that significantly reduces the intrusion of insects, including box elder, lady bugs, spiders, ants and other pests into the interior.  Perimeter pest control is done outside your home to eliminate the inconvenience of indoor applications.  The products we use do not harm your landscape.  You don’t have to be home to receive our services. One to four applications can be applied throughout the active season.

Tree and Shrub Fertilization: Just like your lawn, proper nutrition encourages healthy, vigorous plants that are resistant to disease and insect damage. This treatment can be applied up to four times per season.

  • Spring Feeding: we use a slow-release fertilizer blend to promote strength and vigor.
  • Early Summer: we use mycorrhizae fungi to promote root development and overall health of your trees and ornamentals.
  • Late Summer: we use mycorrhizae fungi to promote root development and recovery from summer stress.
  • Fall: we provide a full feeding with slow-release fertilizer to promote winter root development and store energy for next spring.

Preventative Grub Treatment Grubs, the larval stage of beetles, feed on the roots of grass plants and cause severe damage. We apply this preventative treatment in early June, depending on the weather. Grub control does need to be watered once it is applied. Active Grub control is available in the fall.

Core Aeration: Aeration allows for better nutrient movement, alleviates soil compaction, reduces thatch build-up, and promotes water penetration to the root zone. This practice is especially beneficial in high traffic areas. Aerations are available in Spring and Fall.

Over Seeding:  The process of spreading grass seeds over an existing lawn helps to build a healthy turf by increasing thickness, durability and disease prevention.  It is always best to over seed after aeration. Seed must be watered on a regular basis after it is applied and can take up to four weeks to see germination.
